Editing is often one of the most crucial components of a recording, yet its importance is sometimes downplayed. At Fix Your Mix, we provide editing services which are not only accurate but musical. Before submitting your next project, consider taking advantage of some of our advanced editing services:

»Tuning. We can save that otherwise perfect vocal performance by tuning stray notes. Again, the Fix Your Mix difference is musicality: the style and feel of your song will dictate how we tune a particular performance.

»Timing / Quantization. Even the tightest musicians have their off days. With our rhythmic editing service, your band will be tight and in time with each other, giving your fans the best representation of your music possible. This delicate process requires both experience and taste.

Maybe a few boutique amps like a Bogner or a Diesel. With our re-amping service, you now have access to some of the finest amps available, recorded with a combination of high-end microphones.

All you have to do is record your guitar clean, either through a DI box or by plugging straight into an audio interface. Upload the file to our server and let us do the rest.

Send us a song with the guitar tone you'd like us to emulate. Hendrix? Cobain? We will use our expertise to select the perfect amp and mic combination for the job.

When our clients ask for sound replacement, they're looking for one of two things:

Drums. After years and years of artists seeking that elusive "huge" drum sound, sound replacement came along. This is when a mix engineer takes a drum recording and builds layers of pre-recorded, individual drum hits on top of the original kick drum, snare and toms. These days, you'd be hard pressed to find a platinum-selling record that doesn't make use of this technique.

At Fix Your Mix, we have compiled our own custom library of drum sounds, all of which were recorded and/or processed by us. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind drum sound, we are the right team for the job, whether you want polished or trashy, tight or ambient.

Orchestral/Synths. Sometimes composers simply don't have the time, money or resources to have their work performed by an orchestra. We can turn your midi sequences into a professionally played arrangement using our library of over a terabyte of professionally-recorded sounds.
