Although some will argue that the term "indie rock" becomes increasingly broad and less meaningful each day, let's be brave and throw out some names there: Grizzly Bear. Pavement. Fleet Foxes. Autolux. The Shins, Deerhunter. Then there are bands who are "indie" but not necessarily rock: Crystal Castles, Postal Service, MGMT, TV On The Radio, Phoenix, Sleigh Bells, The Books.

So what's the point in saying all this?
